WHY WEAR MAKEUP????
It was the Roman Dramatist Plautus who wrote, "A woman without makeup is like food without salt". You do not need make-up to be beautiful.
Makeup helps those of us who wish our cheekbones were higher, our skin more evenly toned, or our jaws more prominent. Makeup is also a way to celebrate features we love and want to draw attention.
From an unusual shade of eyeliner and long, flirty eyelashes, to a brighter lipstick and a bit of sparkle across the cheekbones - make up is the grown-up equivalent of dressing-up.

ReplyDeleteI have an ALTER EGO so when I wear makeup, my alter ego comes alive. I can be her anytime of the day. And I can play with all types of colors and she doesn’t mind because she likes to be adventurous. I love putting on all types of makeup because it makes me feel free. Free to be my “ALTER EGO” self and express how I’m feeling at that time. I’m not afraid to try make up fads because they are fads and can be easily erased. I enjoy wearing make up because it allows me to be something I dream of.
ReplyDeletei hardly ever wear makeup, but i love the way it looks. i try new products all the time but like i said its not an everyday need. i'd agree it does make me feel sexy and daring.. its mostly fun and you can always wash it off and try again.. i love trying new things and this is a safe way to explore all kinds of looks.
ReplyDeleteWearing makeup helps me make a statement. If I'm feeling colorful my eyes will have vibrant colors. If I'm feeling sexy my lips will shine. It depends on my mood. However I'm feeling my makeup will reflect my mood. To me, it's almost like a mood ring. Check out the colors I'm wearing to see what emotions I'm feeling.
